Opteka 2.2 lens

I ordered the Opteka 2.2x telephoto lens for my Olympus SP-590 camera because I had broken my Olympus TC17 1.7 telephoto lens and the Olympus lens is now very difficult to find. I was very disappointed with the brand new Opteka lens I received. The view through the lens was very blurry at the maximum extended range of the lens. When I reduced the magnification, the view was clear in the center of the lens but was blurry around the outside edge. By reducing the magnification about 1/3 , the picture through the lens was clear and sharp. I returned the Opteka lens for a refund and was able to find a used olympus telephoto lens which works great. Stick with the Olympus lens if you can find one.
