This T-mount adapter is specifically designed to fit T-mount (screw-mount) lenses to a Sony Alpha mount SLR/DSLR camera.

Not Very Sharp

The Phoenix 500mm Telephoto Mirror lens does not deliver sharp high-contrast photographs, even when used without an extender, on a camera with an external shutter trigger and stabilzed with a tripod, but the lens would probably work for low-resolution or web-based photographs. (For a 500mm lens costing a little more than $100, though, what can you really expect?)The manual focus is a screw type, but moves smoothly, and with the T-mount the lens fits well on my Canon 20D, but it has no electrical contacts, so the camera reads the lens as an 'F0', although that's not a big deal.Now, since this is a mirror lens, the background blur (bokeh) is doughnut shaped, which can be distracting. Also, you can't stop the lens down to increase you depth of field - you're stuck with f/8.Overall, this lens is more of a toy than a serious photography tool. If you want sharpness, you're going to have a pay a little more. (I've heard Tamron 500/8 isn't too bad).

A very poor choice for a lens. Would not recommend this lens unless it comes with a generous return policy.Lens is not sharp & has very poor contrast.
