Recommended Accessory For canon XF 100

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R29G1JD2MIY7DN The product on Amazon says "stronger option Canon TL H-58".I don't think I can vouch for that, but compared to $300 for Canon TL-H58, this $40.00 is a steal!But you get what you pay for.I have a Canon XF100, and I have tested this *only* with that - so, I don't know if it works with the XA100, S100 etc.However, read the Canon camcorder manual very carefully before using this device.Please refer to the test video, but no matter what the setting, it vignetts terribly at the edges.You are better off engaging the teleconverter option (essentially digital zoom) on the XF100.PROS:- Price!- Lightweight- ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC customer service from New World VideoCONS:- Vignetting - if you are using this device and you are zoomed out in the "wide range" (i.e., wider than half way between zoom and tele) you *will* see a black circle. The vignetting has nothing to do with per se. This happens every time you put a tube in front of a non-interchangeable lens - hence it is the same with the Canon TL H58 as well.- The problem is vignetting at the high zoom lengths. It vignetts terribly. I experimented with setting the camcorder conversion lens option to "TL-H58", frame rates, etc. - it is simply no good.- The front of the lens is so badly curved, you cannot put a sunset or polarizer on it (it will foul)- The caps that came with it - cheap plastic, and tend to fall off- No silica gel packet in the faux leather pouchOverall, I think I am very unhappy with it, so I would NOT recommend this product.You can always achieve a better zoom effect by using the XF's "teleconverter" menu or fix it in post productionAs much as I disliked the product, I have to give high marks to Amazon and NWV for their customer service
