Good pictures at low cost

I used this product with a Canon Rebelt T3, remember that is a telephoto 2.0X lens, you must use to zoom your pictures, has been working perfect for me , images very clear and without distortion, i use it with tripod and wired shutter.

Don't bother

I was excited at the prospect of being able to double the range of my 55-22mm lens; however the resulting image is far too distorted. Used it with a tripod during daylight, with an overcast sky.

Possibly a great product just takes lousy pictures!

I used this on a Canon T1i, with a Canon EF IS USM 70mm-300mm lens, on a high quality tripod. The Vivatar(box labeled as such) telephoto 2.0x extender did allow me to zoom in closer, HOWEVER, all the manual focusing in the world would not get the shot into focus and the resulting pictures looked like the shots were taken through a white sock, all blurry, foggy, and completely unuseable. I nearly always buy through Amazon because of the great return policy but still I am out the shipping both ways. Hope this review $aves someone the grief.
