500mm ROKINON Telephoto Lens for CANON EOS mount
Lens employs a Canon T-Mount Adapter (included), and will work with virtually any Canon EOS SLR -Film or Digital. Use this lens with the Canon EOS 650, Elan, Ti, Rebel G, Rebel XTi, XSi, 30D, 50D, T1i, and many more.
The ROKINON 500mm is all BLACK. It utilizes Aluminum Alloy construction for strength yet remains lightweight.

This is a Preset, Manual Focus Lens. Meter coupling on Preset lenses must be done manually; however, some cameras have Exposure Confirmation that verifies metering adjustment -refer to your camera manual.

Excellent lens for the $, if you know what you are doing.

I bought this lens for the sole purpose of taking moon shots. After a few hours of experimenting I found that the lense appeared to be very well built, it mounted easily to the tripod, and it was simple to operate the focus and apature rings. YOU MUST HAVE A TRIPOD!!! Even with the 2x teleconverter, which some people have reffered to as a "nice gesture by the company" in previous reviews, I took some amazing pictures of the moon as well as some wildlife shots. If you have a DSLR and know just the basics of using it then this lens is probably not for you. However, if you have a sound knowledge of photography and lighting and are willing to experiment and be patient, you can achieve success with this lens. I'm not gonna tell you that you will end up with the same images taken with a $5000 lens, but for the money it can't be beat. I would also recommend a uv filter which is a 67mm.

For the price its pretty good. I wasnt expecting much but its actually better than expected. Its so long and skinny it looks a bit silly on your camera and Its manual focus so if you have trouble with that then you arent going to have much luck. Other than that the pictures are decent and even good if using a tripod shooting a fixed object. Overall im happy with my purchase.

i absolutely loved this lens. so much cheaper than the rest. when i purchased it i read the reviews so i wasnt surprised that its auto focus, which is fine... exactly what i was looking for
