The Samyang 85mm T/1.5 manual focus prime lens has been developed primarily for professional cine / movie making purposes. It features follow-focus gearing and a decoupled aperture, an 8-bladed aperture, and optical construction of 9 elements divided into 7 optical groups with one aspheric lens element. It is designed with internal focusing, and features multi-coated glass for a high level of light transmission with minimal flare and ghosting.
