This is a very nice lens. I bought it for use on my Panasonic AF-100 with a Nikon adapter.The lens is great for low light work as it steps down to f1.4 and focusing is accurate andhas a nice throw to it, so you can more accurately focus. The lens has a manual aperaturering which has very good tactile stops to it and is very smooth. Overall this is a quality lensthat is well worth the price.

The Opteka manual focus mirror lens is incredibly compact and lightweight. Using an advanced reflex design, this is a mirror lens that is ideally suited for wildlife and sports photography. It has a fixed aperture of f8. It comes complete with a soft pouch and three (3) rear mounted, 30.5mm filters, (ND-2X, ND-4X & Skylight). Opteka mirror lenses incorporates advanced computer designed optics and the latest in multi-coating techniques.á The process of multi-coating assures virtually flare free photographs even under adverse lighting conditions resulting in crisp high contrast pictures with full color fidelity.

The included Opteka 2X Teleconverter effectivly doubles your zoom converting this lens to a 500-1000mm Super Telephoto!

I am struggling with this lens. Not the lens' fault, I just can't get the hang of it. I would say you need to have alot of expierence and knowledge of your camera to use it effectively. I am still trying, and not ready to give up yet.

The lens is great a little hard to focus as is any lens of this type comes with a cloth carrying pouch and is easy to change out You will need a tripod for this type of lens because of the magnification. I would recommend it to anyone interested in telephoto work.
